Weapons of war accumulated by the toppled Assad regime over half of a century are being systemically obliterated by massive Israeli airstrikes.

U.S. officials say they’ve made direct contact with the Syrian rebel group that led the overthrow against the Assad regime. Meanwhile, as citizens there try to put their lives back together, Israel is launching airstrikes on military targets inside Syria.

Israel has once again attacked military targets in Syria. Explosions were heard in the provinces of Latakia and Tartus, among others, where the Russians have their military bases. One of the explosions near Tartus was so powerful that it registered as a magnitude 3 earthquake on seismic sensors in the area.
