Jill Jacobson, a film and television actress known for her work on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and the primetime soap opera "Falcon Crest," died Dec. 8 in Los Angeles. She was 70 years old. Jacobson's death was confirmed to Variety by publicist Daniel Harary,

Jill Jacobson's list of credits also includes several episodes of 'The New Gidget,' 'Days of Our Lives' and 'Newhart.'

Jacobson was once married to Murphy Brown co-star Paul Dorman, though it appears they later divorced. The couple married in 2001. According to Trellis Law, Jacobson filed for divorce/separation in 2014 in Los Angeles, citing “dissolution without minor children.”
