President-elect Donald Trump reportedly met with TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Monday.

TikTok has filed for an emergency reprieve with the U.S. Supreme Court to buy more time before a nationwide ban of the social media app is set to go into effect next month.

TikTok on Monday asked the Supreme Court to step in on an emergency basis to block the federal law that would ban the popular platform in the United States unless its China-based parent company agreed to sell it.
