Wells Fargo is set to sell its San Francisco headquarters, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, as the U.S. banking giant shifts its focus to the country's East Coast.

Wells Fargo, which confirmed Tuesday it is listing its San Francisco headquarters for sale, has now reduced its office footprint in the city by more than half over the last few years.
