The Philadelphia 76ers dropped to 7-16 on the season following a 121-107 loss to the Indiana Pacers in a matchup where a lot went wrong. The Sixers lost Joel Embiid at halftime to a sinus fracture and even rookie Jared McCain left briefly after a hard fall and had to undergo concussion tests before returning.

Embiid was battling Indiana's Bennedict Mathurin for a defensive rebound in the closing seconds of the first half when he caught an errant forearm and elbow to the face.
