But Friday wasn’t that day — even with Las Vegas exposing many weaknesses in the Chiefs’ 19-17 home victory on Black Friday in Kansas City. In the end, the Chiefs defense came up with two late stops, which included Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson’s potential 58-yard go-ahead field goal landing short with 2 minutes, 21 seconds left.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who completed 26-of-46 passes attempts for 306 yards and a score against Las Vegas, broke Len Dawson's record for the most touchdown passes (238) in franchise history. However, the 29-year-old star didn't feel like he had a lot to brag about after the game.
