Cody Rhodes is on the back foot heading into WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. Kevin Owens got the better of his estranged friend on the final WWE SmackDown before the weekend's primetime special.

Saturday Night’s Main Event is back, and I’m so stoked I want to throw on polka dots and dance like an aging Dusty Rhodes or maybe have a snack of turnbuckle stuffing in honor of George The Animal Steele.

Cody Rhodes will appear on the December 13 episode of WWE SmackDown. WWE announced that Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owen would have “one final word” ahead of their title match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

As Rhodes was potentially going to unveil the gold gift given to him by Triple H, he was interrupted by Owens, who was once again in his car. Owens said that Rhodes was as bad of a friend as he was a son and husband. He then said that the truth is, Cody was way more interesting as Stardust.

New segments have been added ahead of tonight's WWE Smackdown show. At 3pm, WWE announced on X that Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens would have "one final word before they clash for the title" on Saturday Night's Main Event.
