Arlington police are investigating after a multi-vehicle crash killed a man and critically injured two women early Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the 300 block of North Watson Road near Division Street around 1 a.m. after receiving reports that an SUV had struck a vehicle and several pedestrians, officials said.

Police arrested Leonardo Reyes, 23, for the attack, charging him with aggravated malicious wounding and child abuse among other charges.

The Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) said a woman and a toddler, a girl, were stabbed in Pentagon City on Saturday night. On Dec. 14 at about 9:45 p.m., police were sent to the 900 block of Army Navy Drive for the report of a stabbing.
